What we verified

On 21 August 2026, during our regular profile sweep, Alpha Capital Group’s Trustpilot profile displayed:

  • “Warning — This company’s rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines”
  • “Breach of guidelines — We’ve removed a number of fake reviews for this company”

The withheld figure still visible in the page’s structured data was 4.7 / 21,560. Per our policy, we do not publish scores Trustpilot has withdrawn. Our previous reading (31 July 2026) was a normal live profile at 4.7 / 21,176.

That makes nine suppressed firms among the 31 we track, with 43,723 reviews sitting behind suppressed profiles as at that date.

Update, 8 September 2026: we re-read all nine suppressed profiles the same way. The same nine firms are still suppressed, and the review count behind them is now 43,946 — Alpha Capital Group 21,660, Audacity Capital 271, E8 Markets 3,297, Funded Trading Plus 2,661, FunderPro 1,578, Goat Funded Trader 4,292, Instant Funding 4,377, Maven Trading 5,196, ThinkCapital 614. Two of those counts fell: FunderPro 1,592 → 1,578 and Instant Funding 4,410 → 4,377. Review counts can go down as fake reviews are removed, so a rising total is not the only thing to watch.

Update, 15 September 2026: re-read again. Still the same nine firms, now with 43,964 reviews behind them — Alpha Capital Group 21,675, Audacity Capital 297, E8 Markets 3,297, Funded Trading Plus 2,661, FunderPro 1,560, Goat Funded Trader 4,277, Instant Funding 4,380, Maven Trading 5,206, ThinkCapital 611. Three counts fell this week: FunderPro 1,578 → 1,560 (its second fall in a row), Goat Funded Trader 4,292 → 4,277 and ThinkCapital 614 → 611. Instant Funding edged back up from 4,377 to 4,380.

Update, 22 September 2026: re-read again. Still the same nine firms, now with 44,087 reviews behind them — Alpha Capital Group 21,744, Audacity Capital 299, E8 Markets 3,297, Funded Trading Plus 2,663, FunderPro 1,570, Goat Funded Trader 4,318, Instant Funding 4,375, Maven Trading 5,209, ThinkCapital 612. The three counts that fell last week all rose this week — FunderPro 1,560 → 1,570, Goat Funded Trader 4,277 → 4,318, ThinkCapital 611 → 612 — while Instant Funding slipped back from 4,380 to 4,375. Alpha Capital Group added 69 reviews, Audacity Capital 2, Funded Trading Plus 2 and Maven Trading 3; E8 Markets was unchanged at 3,297 for a third consecutive read.

Context

By coincidence, we had recorded Alpha’s Clause 27 in our Review-Restriction Tracker the same day: it bans any public statement “that could be construed as negative”, irrevocably and forever, with Alpha the sole and final judge of breach — the broadest clause in our 18-firm audit.

That the firm with the broadest contractual speech restriction is also the firm whose fake reviews Trustpilot just removed underlines why star counts alone cannot rate a prop firm.
